Why use Cleaning Cards

Bill Acceptors cleaning cards
This cleaning card removes dirt and oils from the recessed lenses, transport rollers and belts of bill acceptor devices. The recessed lenses are the most critical component of the bill acceptor as they tell the unit what the denomination of the bank note is. These areas can become like a trash can and accumulate any dust or debris that comes off essentially dirty money. It is imperative to keep these lenses clean for proper operation. Transport belts and rollers are designed to grip the currency and pull it into the equipment. When dirty they will slip causing one side of the currency to travel faster, therefore jamming the bill in the acceptors pathway. Regular preventive maintenance will keep the bill acceptor functioning as designed. JCM has embraced the use of the Waffletechnology design creating a product specific to their bill validators. Cashless Ticket Printer cleaning cards
This cleaning card removes burnt on paper particles that build up on a thermal printer’s print head. The clarity of a cashless ticket is extremely important both to the patron so that they are comfortable with the cashless system and for the Casino for accurate redemptions. All thermal printer manufactures recommend some type of regular cleaning but TransAct has created and endorsed a cleaning system for their Epic 850 and 950 printers. It is recommended to clean the print head with every change of paper stock. The cleaning card cleans the thermal print head and platen rollers for clear and crisp cashless ticket.

Player Tracking and Credit card reader cleaning cards
This cleaning card will maintain the player tracking card readers used to gather information on your top players. A player card has oils and dirt on its surface. With every swipe into your card reader these contaminates are transferred into the card reader and onto the magnetic heads. Screen Wipe for touch screen monitors, Plasma and LCD screens
The screen wipe contains a wet wipe to remove finger prints and static from the sensitive surfaces of today’s monitors. The dry wipes removes the excess moisture for a clean streak free surface. Check Scanner cleaning cards
The cleaning card removes endorsement ink build up from scanner lens covers, check transport rollers and belts. The check is printed just prior to passing the lens and other critical areas of the scanner to make it a legal document. The removal of this ink build up is essential to the clarity of a legal document which could potentially display an erroneous decimal point or worse if not properly maintained.
